A Taste of History

THE FORMER OWNER OF OLIVE BRANCH

After careful consideration I have decided to sell the assets of the business to my trusted Chef, Jhonathan Rupchand-Kokotek, effective April 30, 2020.

Recently, I have leaned on Jhonathan often when my schedule or time was limited. He’s taken on many of the responsibilities that were previously in my realm. This has been a great help to me, and also opened my eyes up to what a great owner he would be. He is not only an incredible chef, as many of you witness week after week, he also is truly a good person with a big heart. In addition, he has all the attributes to make him successful as the new owner. As former owner of a chef consulting business in New York, he has valuable ownership experience and a true entrepreneurial spirit. I have worked with Jhonathan closely, observed his commitment to meeting customers’ needs, and the performance of his work has been outstanding.

I started Olive Branch Personal Chef Service in 2008 as a young adult with a big passion for cooking. I didn’t know much about running a business, but had the desire to learn. I didn’t expect that 12 years later, my business would have grown as it has, and become this successful.

I have had the pleasure of getting to form relationships with many wonderful families over the years, and it has meant a lot to me to have the opportunity to make a difference in clients’ lives with this service.

I started Olive Branch Personal Chef Service in 2008 as a young adult with a big passion for cooking. I didn’t know much about running a business, but had the desire to learn. I didn’t expect that 12 years later, my business would have grown as it has, and become this successful. I have had the pleasure of getting to form relationships with many wonderful families over the years, and it has meant a lot to me to have the opportunity to make a difference in clients’ lives with this service.

As life is constantly changing, I now have 2 children. I realize how precious time is while they are young. I now will have the opportunity to spend much more time with them, which I am very grateful for. I feel quite lucky to have met Jhonathan this past year, and that he was someone I could envision taking over the business.

​

As of April 30, 2020 all business operations performed by Olive Branch Personal Chef Services will be transferred to Jhonathan. I will be staying on for at least 30 days to help with the transition. After the 30 days, I will be working towards exiting completely, but will be available to Jhonathan for questions for at least the next year.
