Position: Personal Chef & Culinary Kitchen Team Members

Overview of Olive Branch Chef Service
Founded in 2008 in New Hampshire, and expanded to California in 2018, Olive Branch chefs go to clients’ homes and cook multiple meals for them at a time, on a weekly basis. The chefs work directly with their clients and custom design weekly menus for them. On the cook days, the chef shops for groceries, goes to the client’s home and cooks, packages and labels everything with reheating directions, and properly stores the food. 

Requirements & Qualifications for Position

  • Professional cooking experience, 5+ years & personal/private chef experience preferred

  • Experience cooking a wide range of cuisines as well as being able to accommodate special diet plans & allergies

  • Culinary school graduate a plus

  • Trustworthy & Honest

  • Must have Passion for Food and cooking

  • Friendly, personable, and able to carry on a conversation with a client while cooking

  • Able to multi-task and keep work area clean while working

  • Reliable, Punctual, Responsible 

  • Be Organized and able to Multitask 

  • Very Dependable Transportation

  • Pays Attention to Detail/Conscientious 

  • Neat/Clean Appearance

  • Must be able to write monthly reports on client’s service, so we are able to make even better improvements to provide to our client’s

  • Must pass a clean background check & no criminal record

  • Verifiable, strong references for your prior work experience

  • Able to work legally in the United States


Job Duties 
Chef’s primary responsibilities: Communicating with and managing their clients, planning all menus and getting client approval. Chef will type up menu for client and leave it at client home, shop for the groceries on the cook day, cook, package & label food, properly store the food, be able to lift between 25 to 50lbs, and clean the kitchen after cooking. Chef will email or text grocery receipt photos, and a copy of the menu to owner each cook day.
